HELP!
Ok...so I totally got asked to do makeup for a short film involving vampires. I'm just not sure about..what to use for makeup. I can't spend too much money on the makeup, simple because, I don't have it.

I just really need some help with...I guess how to do it, since it's different for film. Like, what products to use. I tried to look online but got frustrated when I came up with nothing! I'm thinking of getting one or two of the wheels from Ben Nye or some..Mehron Blith Spirit Starblend cake makeup...because it seems pretty good? I don't know, I just need some help or tips on doing makeup for film. I would super appreciate any help! It's my first film, so I'm trying to make sure it turs out fab!

I'm seriously thinking of trying to swap some of my MAC eyeshadows and crap for it, because I don't use most of them anyway.

Anyway! Help??

Hey so I'll keep this short and sweet. I'm looking to cut my hair, I'm not a person who styles their hair very much--I just straighten out my side bangs and then let the rest curl. I love having curly/wavy hair and would say my 'signature style' would be a natural-messy style. I rarely put up my hair in a pony tail. I also find that my hair matts up at the back of my neck creating this one huge dread. Its pretty unsightly.

Alright so I've had the layered side bang thing for over a year and I want something really different. I am emotionally attached to the length and have never dyed it in my life. My hair also happens to be crazy thick, which is why layers are a life saver. I want something unique and edgy I suppose is what I'm looking for. Bring on the layers, bangs, and pictures.( here )

BUZZ-CUT HAIR ON GIRLS...
i really, really, really want to buzz my hair. about 1/4 inch.

girls who have done this:
what was it like, other than your head being colder?
how long did it take to grow out to a pixie-ish length?
was it annoying to deal with while growing out, as in keeping it looking sorta neat?
my natural color is pretty flat - did you dye it? was it hard to keep dyed?
how did others react?
do you regret it, or was it enjoyable?

Okay. So. I am finally facing the consequences of dying my hair too much. And it sucks.

I started dying my whole head about 3 years ago, a few times a month.
It's taken quite the toll and now I'm starting to notice the damage.

I feel like I'm losing my hair. It has gotten so thin I'm terrified I'm going to go bald.

i do all the time so to make myself feel better i look over my photobooth pictures and realize that yes in fact it is getting longer and my eyes are just lying to me ( progress from july to november )

hey madradhair, me again. i think i want to dye my hair abit darker. not necessarily brown, red or black, but a slightly darker blonde? i feel as though this colour doesn't look good on me at all, and i normally wait about 6 weeks instead of 4 to get my roots done because i want it to grow. my natural hair colour is a dirty blonde but when i was little it was lighter. i don't want it loads darker, just by a few shades so my roots blend abit more.

so can anyone post pictures of what shade of blonde i should get? or should i just keep it how it is and use dry shampoo when my roots come through so they blend in more?

Some Vam manips
So, it has been a LONG time since I made a manip but I wanted to try some Vam manips. Here are a few. I realized that I forgot a lot about photoshop so these are not as fab as I would like. I'll probably tinker with them some more but, because of my lack of memory about how photoshop works, they were pretty time intensive so I was anxious to share anyway.

Getting rid of Atomic Pink is, in fact, possible
Hay guys,

After having bright pink(ish) hair for a year and a half, I decided to change things up and become one with autumn by doing a natural reddish color instead.

Look at my hairs because I'm quite pleased that this didn't end up a fried mess, or some nasty puke-based color. ( Pink to natural red! )

This process was not actually that daunting (although the stripping/bleaching routine is extremely tedious), and my hair is completely fine and healthy even though it felt like it started to turn into mush while the bleach was on my head. I did use some kind of deep conditioning shit... and yeah, I'm pretty happy with it, so I thought I'd share.

I know you guys are tired of request posts, but I really need your help!

hey! This is me in madder, radder days. After the blond, which I loathed, I went back to a natural warm light brown. all good. Then I wanted to go light, warm brownish red for fall with Wella permanent hair dye in Light Copper (red/gold base). I know Wella tends to develop dark but I was not expecting my hair to turn out BRIGHT cherry red that looked cool instead of warm! How can I fade this quickly? I've heard dish soap, dandruff shampoo... any other ideas?

i was concidering growing out out longer (my hairs always been shoulder or above so im sick of short hair)

has anyone used this?? i'm almost platinum but i have a few parts (like ends)
of my hair that just refuse to lighten completely white! i do use a purple
shampoo but i was wondering if this would lighten/remove more of the brassy color.
